Eric Cornell

Senior General Manager

Eric Cornell has worked on the producing and management teams of more than a dozen original Broadway, Off-Broadway, National Touring, and Regional shows. He worked for over six years at 321 Theatrical Management as a company manager. After, Eric worked with Stage Entertainment USA as the Vice President of Production and Executive Producer for almost 4 years before launching his own company, Eric Cornell Productions. ​ He received an HBX CORe certificate from Harvard Business School and is currently pursuing his Master’s Degree in Management at Harvard University. He received his BA from Emerson College. In 2016, Eric Cornell Productions was incorporated to further Eric's producing interests in theatre, television, and digital media. Dickson Lane

General Management Team - Tech Director

An AEA professional, Dickson Lane has been the Artistic Director of New Directions Theatre, and a Stage Manager at Circle Repertory here in NYC. He was also the Director in Residence/ Technical Director at the Renaissance Theatre in Columbia, Maryland. Dickson has Stage Managed in regional theaters such as the Alliance Theatre in Atlanta, The Alabama Shakespeare Festival, and many national tours. He was also Technical Director at the Boothbay Playhouse in Maine, The Public Theater here in NYC, Lucille Lortel's White Barn in Norwalk, Connecticut, and at the Actors' Studio. He was trained at North Carolina School of the Performing Arts, and at Webber Douglas Academy in London. He just closed his first Off-Broadway venture as an Executive Producer, “Blackbird” by David Harrower: A unique theatrical experience, as the play informed the conversation about sexual abuse.

Beatriz Sacramento

General Management Team

Beatriz, a member of the NYNW GM team for two years now, started in the business at the age of 14. Brazilian born, she studied the crafts of Theatre followed by a degree in Communication and Filmmaking. ​ Her career in film started after she moved to Berlin, where she expanded from Theatre to Music Videos, live transmission, commercials, short and feature films both in the narrative and documentary capacities. ​ Now, after 3 1/2 years living in NY, Beatriz is a bi-coastal Producer and talent in Films and Theatre flying constantly from/to LA and the Big Apple.

Alex Muscaro

Playwriting Consultant

Alex has been dramaturging in New York City since moving here in 2015. Creating theatre is her passion, and her goal is to help writers bring their stories to life. She dramaturged With Love, Marilyn a one-woman musical that has been touring since 2017. This past January, she was the dramaturgical assistant on The St. Petersburg Opera’s production of The Magic Flute. Alex constantly attends readings and workshops of developing works and truly believes that the magic of theatre happens primarily off stage with just a writer, a laptop, and a dream.

Anand Ray

Host Ambassador

Anand is switching his career to acting and producing. Recently he was the first South Asian in NYC to play lead, Dr. Frankenstein, in AlphaNYC Theater’s production of “Frankenstein: The Radio Play” at the Roebuck Theater, Times Square Arts Center. Some of his theater credits include: performing sketch comedy at Carolines on Broadway, playing lead for Post Office by Rabindranath Tagore at 2015 South Asian International Performing arts festival, playing Friar in a Bollywood rendition of Romeo & Juliet. He has acted in numerous short films including: Vanilla, an award winning film screened at the 2016 Asian American International Film Festival; The Prayer, screened at Mumbai International Shorts festival. On the producing side, Anand’s was a consulting producer for Hypokrit Theater’s staged production of Choker Bali/Devdas at The Theater for the New City. He was an executive producer for “Swiped to Death” Web series that revolves around horror stories surrounding online dating. He is currently producing a short film for a social cause

Stephanie June

Host Ambassador

Stephanie June is an actress residing in New York City. Originally from a village in eastern Germany, she received her Bachelor of Arts at the Institute for Music in Osnabrück in Musical Theatre and Vocal Pedagogy. In 2017, she moved to the United States to deepen her knowledge and training in Method Acting at the well-known Lee Strasberg Institute for Film and Theatre.

Kat Anderegg

Stage Manager

Kat Anderegg is a New York based theatre professional, actor, musician, and artist. An NYNW Festival veteran,; she stage managed the show ‘Burning Leaves’ by Tom Rowan and is excited to be a part of the festival for the second year. While her first love is theatre, she has spent much of the past two years making music and singing in indie rock projects. She also teaches devising theatre workshops for companies such as “One World Girl” and is working on getting workshops started in different community centers in Queens.

Kate Hyde

General Management Team

Kate Hyde has been on the NYNW General Management team for two years running and has dedicated her efforts to assisting writers in elevating their craft. Both a graphic artist and journalist by trade, Miss Hyde has assisted with designs that have been for and include some of Broadway's brightest names. As a journalist, Miss Hyde maintains the premise that all styles of writing are artistic and writer's need to be supported as they follow their respective paths. The world needs great writers and it's our job to help them reach their potential - Miss Hyde exemplifies what it means to be there for our participants each step of the way.

Gene Fisch, Jr.

Festival Director

Mr. Fisch spends his life believing that each day is new and that dreams can come true. This Festival Showcase is a testament to that providing talented individuals with the opportunity to perform in a first rate space in front of a wonderful audience. Check him out on EconoMonitor.com here, and on Rock City Productions here, He is also a two time Ironman Finisher, a certified Rescue Diver, Proud fan of the Ronald McDonald House, and Achilles member guiding disabled athletes as they inspire though competing in marathons, cycling competitions, and triathlons. Also recently, Mr. Fisch produced a concert at Carnegie Hall where the proceeds went to instill music programs within the NYC Public School system. Mr. Fisch's latest project is a technology that brings pages to life, having the potential to entirely alter how our society cultivates a love for reading.

Susan Narang

Lead Festival Ambassador

A renaissance woman by nature, Miss Narang has spent several years as a senior member of the Bloomberg Team and is credited for orchestrating some of Bloomberg's most profound deals during her tenure. Since, she has worked in the start up world in a variety of positions from sales to business management. A tremendous fan of the philosophy NYNW espouses, Susan volunteers in helping the team's strategic partnerships with all things theatre and television.

Amber Rose Dische

Host Ambassador

Equally comfortable performing in the Musical Theatre, Theatrical, and Operatic genres, soprano AmberRose Dische is a Southern California native, who received an Associates Degree in Theatre, (with an emphasis in acting,) from Fullerton College, CA. She went on to receive her Bachelor of Music Degree in Vocal Performance from Westminster Choir College, in Princeton, New Jersey. Upon moving to New York City, she earned her Master of Music degree in Vocal Performance from Mannes, the New School for Music, where she was a Young Artist in the Mannes Opera Program. AmberRose’s favorite roles include Little Red Riding Hood (Into the Woods), Sarah Brown (Guys and Dolls), Mrs. Mayor Who (Seussical), Nicole (The Deadly Game), Masha (The Seagull), Mustardseed (A Midsummer Night’s Dream), and Giulietta (Les Contes d'Hoffman). When not in a theater, AmberRose spends her time teaching “Do, Re, Mi” to 2-5 year olds, planning events and coordinating a church praise band for Middle Schoolers, and drinking coffee with her nose in a book.

Madison Selfaison

Host Ambassador

Madison Selfaison is a professional actor, singer, dancer, and musician living in New York City. Madison is originally from Oahu, Hawaii, but has left paradise to pursue a career in the arts. Madison is a graduate of the CAP 21 Conservatory and while auditioning or working a gig, she is pursuing a degree in Theatre Management from University of Massachusetts Amherst. With a deep love for the arts, Madison is a strong supporter of the NYNW festival and all that it has to offer. Thank you, Gene for making all of this possible!

Sydney Steele

General Management Team

Sydney is a producer and manager in the NYC area. She previously spent 5 years touring nationally and internationally as a stage manager. Some of her favorite projects include Serenade at the Hollywood Bowl (stage manager), Asia tour of Aida (stage manager),and My Name is Gideon: I’m Probably Going to Die, Eventually (associate producer). Sydney received her BFA in stage management from the North Carolina School of the Arts, with a concentration in ballet stage management. Sydney’s work has received many awards and nominations, but by far her proudest accomplishment is her daughter (5 years old) and son (who is due at the beginning of September ‘18).

Kim Marie Jones

General Management Team - Production Director

Kim Marie Jones has 20 plus years experience as a Production Manager, Lighting Designer, Props Master, AEA Stage Manager, and Producer. She is an Alumni of St. John's University and The American Academy of Dramatic Arts/NY. Kim is currently a Workshop Theater Company MEMBER and TRU's Technical Director.

Gabby Creery

General Management Team

Gabby has been a member of the General Management Team for four seasons running and has been instrumental to the creation of NYNW. A New Jersey native, her love of theatre, photography, and all things in the arts has enabled her to be a loved addition to the NYNW family. www.metropoliscoach.com

Giorgia Testa

Host Ambassador

Giorgia Testa born and raised in Italy, she recently graduated from The American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York City. Since graduation she took part at different Off Broadway Cabaret in the city, she sang at the gala for the Human Rights Awards Downtown. She has been part of the New York New Works Festival in September and was greatful for this great opportunity. She is still auditioning constantly and excited to see what the future has to offer.

Bebe Tabickman

Host Ambassador

Bebe Tabickman is a born and raised New York City actress. She trained at the Professional Performing Arts School for Middle School and High School, and she attended Point Park University in Pittsburgh PA for College. You might have seen Bebe as the MC Host for some select performances of the NYNWF. Some of her past credits include, Maddy in the National Tour of Click Clack Moo with TheaterworksUSA, Mrs.Green in the World Premiere of Bagels From Benny at 92Y, and Bella in Big Love at the Pittsburgh Playhouse. www.bebetabickman.com

Prescott

Festival Ambassador

Prescott is an integral part of the festival team. A graduate of M.I.T. while simultaneously taking courses at Harvard, this bear voraciously loves ice cream. Prescott brings love and luck to all participants, panel members and the audience at every performance - if you are lucky enough to encounter him he loves the camera: share him with the hashtag #NYNWTHEATREFEST to make him the happiest bear around!
